Patient Experience Week is being marked next week at Monash Health, with events taking place from 26 April to 29 April.
Patient Experience Week is an opportunity to recognise the important work that we all do to provide positive patient experiences and to shape the path towards providing experiences that exceed expectations.
Between 26 April to 29 April, various events will be taking place at Monash Health:
- Wednesday 28 April 12.30 – 1.30pm via WebEx, Grand Round Presentation with Dr Dinesh Palipana.
- Thursday 29 April 2-3pm via WebEx, Virtual Schwartz Round facilitated by Dr Ranjana Srivastava with a focus on ‘Memorable Patient Experiences’.
Keep an eye out for the Patient Experience displays located in the foyer of six of the Monash Health sites, where you will be able to learn more about various aspects of Patient Experience and how it affects you.
These displays will be at:
- Clayton, Casey and Moorabbin on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 April.
- Dandenong, Kingston and Monash Children’s on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 April.
This is a great opportunity for employees to talk to members of the Patient Experience Team to ask any questions they may have about Standard 2: Partnering with consumers in preparation for Accreditation survey.
Brochures and posters on topics such as Consumer Advisors, Volunteers, Health Literacy, Patient feedback and Shared Decision Making will available at the Patient Experience displays. These all feature vital information relating to the Accreditation survey, so be sure to pick up any resources you require.
