Nominations are now open for the 2021 Victorian Senior of the Year Awards

Do you know an older Victorian making a difference in your community? Perhaps a leader who inspires the community or a hands-on worker who delivers exceptional services?

The 2021 Victorian Senior of the Year Awards are now open for nomination. These awards acknowledge people over the age of 60 who volunteer their time to assist, support and encourage others in their communities. Members of Victoria’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities who are 50 years and older are also eligible to be nominated for these awards.

There are six categories under which you can nominate individuals. Nominations are open until Friday 9 July 2021, with the awards being presented at a ceremony at Government House on Tuesday 5 October 2021. To find out more about previous winners and to download the nomination forms, please visit the Seniors Online Victoria website.
