Moorabbin Hospital Food Services have recently been awarded 5 stars for their food safety compliance by the Glen Eira City Council.
A food safety assessment involves councils conducting an annual evaluation of the food safety programs of a food business to determine if the business is complying with its food safety program and applicable Australian Food Safety Standards.
The assessment rated aspects such as food safety hazard control, cleaning and sanitation and staff knowledge and training. Food services at Moorabbin Hospital received an overall risk rating of Low and a compliance score of 100%
With this 5-star rating, Moorabbin Hospital Food Services will be featured in next year’s Glen Eira Safe Food Guide. This Safe Food Guide is produced by the council to publicly promote businesses that prepare and sell safe food within the municipality.
