In response to COVID-19 cases at Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), the following has been put in place across all Monash Health sites.
If you have worked at or visited Royal Melbourne Hospital any time since 12 August, you must not attend work at Monash Health. Please:
- Have a COVID-19 test as soon as possible and isolate until further notice.
- Contact the Monash Health Employee Hotline on (03) 9594 5815, 7am to 7pm, seven days a week, before returning to work at Monash Health.
If you live with (in the same household) or have been in contact with anyone who works at RMH, please ensure they have a negative swab before you return to work at Monash Health.
Any employees who have been contacted by RMH or the Department of Health and told they are a close contact must test, isolate, and contact the Monash Health Employee Hotline on (03) 9594 5815.
These precautions are in place due to an outbreak at RMH. RMH are currently investigating the situation and details are still emerging. It is important that we are aware of everyone who may have been affected.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to do all we can to keep everyone safe.
