New Sandown drive-through vaccination clinic

The South East community can now race to get their vaccine at the new Monash Health Sandown Drive-through Vaccination Clinic. The drive-through clinic opened Friday 20 August alongside our high-volume COVID-19 vaccination centre at Sandown Racecourse in Springvale.

Available by bookings only, the drive-through clinic will expand access to vaccines for the community. The drive-through clinic will be administering both AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccinations for those eligible.

The drive-through at Sandown is the latest vaccination clinic to join the Monash Health South East Public Health Unit’s (SEPHU) growing number of vaccination sites, designed to support and protect Victoria against COVID-19.

The drive-through clinic will also be key in supporting the Victorian Government’s ‘One Million Reasons For Victorians To Get Vaccinated’ initiative which aims to administer one million COVID-19 vaccine doses to the community over the next five weeks.

Thank you to all Monash Health employees who have been instrumental in establishing the Sandown drive-through vaccination clinic so promptly and for everyone’s efforts in protecting the community in the fight against COVID-19.

Both the Sandown drive-through vaccination clinic and Sandown vaccination centre are open from 9.00am to 5.00pm every day, including weekends.

To avoid delays and disappointment, the community is being strongly encouraged to book their vaccination appointments.
