As the number of people on COVID pathways rises, we will see and care for more patients yet to be vaccinated. Cameron articulates the clinical outcomes and the emotional impact of treating an illness preventable for most through vaccination.
Cameron’s experience reminds us that our patients and their families and friends arrive in our care maybe having relied on different information and with different perceived risks than we might have; and your empathy may be tested.
