Special Series: Dr Cameron Wolfe COVID-19 Q&A sessions
Dr Cameron Wolfe explains how COVID-19 vaccination reduces the risk of transmission compared to not being vaccinated
In this fifth, short video of our series, Dr Cameron Wolfe addresses the important and often misunderstood discussion around the transmission of COVID-19 in vaccinated people compared to those who are yet to be vaccinated.
You may have heard the comment, “you can still transmit it even if you are vaccinated” as a reason not to be vaccinated. Cameron’s description of the increasing evidence on how vaccination reduces transmission rates and why it is still essential to protecting ourselves and others is clear and easily understood.
It is also a timely reminder that we should follow safety precautions even when vaccinated, to ensure we can provide safe care to our vulnerable patients and community members.
Please take a moment to watch the video and gain an understanding of this vital topic that you can share with your patients, family and friends.
Thank you.
