Important information for employees scheduled to be paid this week (i.e. on H Pay Run)
This morning we were advised that an external technology provider that supports a number Victorian health services employee pay systems has experienced a significant disruption that MAY impact the normal schedule of salary payments due this week.
If your next pay is due this week, there may be a delay of up to 24 hours from when you usually see the payment appear in your account. Payments for Thursday’s pay run generally appear in employee bank accounts on Wednesdays. It is possible that those payments may arrive on Thursday this week.
We take any disruption very seriously and our contingency planning accounts for such issues.
We have immediately activated our contingency plans to ensure all those due to be paid this week will be, and any impact is minimised.
A further update will be provided by 6:30 pm today.
Until that time I ask that you do not contact the payroll team, so that they can focus on the issues at hand.
