Important information for employees scheduled to be paid this week (i.e. on H Pay Run) – UPDATE

Earlier today, we advised that an external technology provider that supports payroll systems for several Victorian health services has experienced a disruption that MAY impact the usual schedule of salary payments due this week.

If you are due to be paid this week, you may experience a delay of up to 24 hours from when you usually see the payment appear in your account. Payments for Thursday’s pay run generally appear in employee bank accounts on Wednesday, but may arrive on Thursday this week.

Our payroll and IT teams are working closely to minimise any impact on this week’s pay run and ensure that all those due to be paid this week will be.

Contingency processes have been enacted and will be tested tonight to ensure they are operating smoothly before Thursday’s pay run begins.

A further update will be provided by 9:30 am tomorrow.

Until that time, please do not contact the payroll team in order to allow them time to focus on the issues at hand.
