Important information for employees scheduled to be paid this week (i.e., on H Pay Run)
Yesterday we were advised that an external technology provider that supports employee pay systems for several Victorian health services had experienced a significant disruption that may impact the normal schedule of salary payments due this week.
We activated our contingency plans immediately, and I am pleased to confirm that following testing overnight, all employees who are due to be paid this week will be.
If your pay is due this week, you may experience a delay of up to 24 hours from when you usually see your payment appear in your account. Payments for Thursday’s pay run generally appear in employee bank accounts on Wednesday but may arrive on Thursday this week (18 November).
To enable the pay run to be processed promptly, car parking will not be charged in this pay run, and I have decided to waive this fortnight’s payment.
While this week’s pay will technically arrive on time, I know that a change to the day your payment is received may create pressure. Please know that we have taken this disruption extremely seriously and acted as quickly as possible to minimise the impact.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I would also like to thank our Payroll and Digital Health teams for their swift action in enacting our contingency processes and ensuring the pay run is completed.
