Monash Health’s Clayton COVID-19 Screening Clinic will close on 22 March.
With Melbourne continuing to reopen, there is a need scale down the drive-through Clayton Screening Clinic from 8 lanes to 4 lanes by 22 March 2022.
The change means that the dual operating model at the Clayton Screening Clinic, which has seen Monash Health and 4Cyte Pathology operate drive-through testing clinics at the same site, is no longer suitable. As a result, Monash Health will finish operating at the site from close of business on 22 March. 4Cyte Pathology is expected to continue operating at the screening clinic site.
For those employees who require a priority COVID-19 PCR test or patients requiring a preadmission PCR, Monash Health will continue to operate the Carroll Lane COVID-19 Screening Clinic in Dandenong every day between 8am to 3pm.

Since opening on 15 April 2020, Monash Health has provided approximately 134,000 PCR tests and over 5,000 Rapid Antigen Tests at Clayton.
