Patient Experience Week is an opportunity to recognise the important work that we all do to provide positive patient experiences and to lead the path towards experiences that exceed expectations.
It is an annual celebration of our healthcare workers who impact patient experience every day.
This year Patient Experience Week is being marked from 25 to 29 April with the theme “We are better together”.
During the week, the Patient Experience team are holding events, opportunities and even competitions to showcase all the fantastic work our employees do across Monash Health, including:
- Pop up displays across sites showcasing various aspects of patient experience
- The opportunity to contribute to our revised Patient Experience strategy and development of service standards
- Grand Round Presentation via Teams: Wednesday 27 April, 12:30 to 1:30pm
- Schwartz Round via WebEx: Thursday 28 April, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
- Announcing the winner of our consumer participation poster competition! At the Employee Forum via WebEx: Tuesday 26 April, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Keep an eye out for the Patient Experience displays located in the foyer of Monash Health sites, where you can learn more about various aspects of Patient Experience and how it affects you.
In the lead up to Accreditation in August, Patient Experience Week is a great opportunity for you to ask the Patient Experience team any questions you might have about Standard 2 of our National Accreditation Standards: Partnering with consumers.
