We know the health sector has been feeling the pressure over the last two years taking on extra responsibilities, working longer hours, and putting a lot of energy and love into keeping people safe.
You deserve a break.
A chance to take a seat, put your feet up, and savour a nice cup of tea (or milkshake if you prefer!).
And now’s the perfect time to do it. Not only is it long overdue, but until June 30, Monash Health is taking part in the Health Services Blood Drive.
United, we give.
Right now, 1 in 2 donations is being cancelled, but the need for blood never stops.
That’s why Lifeblood Teams like ours are coming together to work towards a single goal of 10,700. Across the country people like you, who care about what’s happening in the world, are making a difference.
United, we save lives.
Everything you need to join the blood drive and book a donation can be found on this webpage. You can also check in on how we’re going (and how many lives we’ve changed) at any point.
If you have recently recovered from COVID-19 you’ll only need to wait 7 days before you can donate as long as you’re feeling healthy and well on the day of donation.
The need for blood never stops – and it’s needed everywhere in our service from emergency and trauma to surgery, obstetrics, paediatrics, cancer care and more.
When we work together, everyone wins.
Can’t give right now? You can still help. Spread the word far and wide with some of the downloadables on the drive webpage.
