In line with the evolving guidance around the management of COVID-19, check-ins using the QR code on the Services Victoria app are not required as the app no longer retains check-in data. We’ve summarised below what this means for you as an employee, and changes to the screening requirements for visitors across our sites.
Employee screening
As employees, we are no longer required to check into shared spaces, such as tea rooms and meeting rooms, using the QR check-in system. For meetings longer than four hours, QR check-in will no longer be available. However, a written record of attendance should be taken for contact tracing purposes.
Visitor screening
Visitor restrictions still apply to all our sites, however, from 13 May 2022, visitors are no longer required to check in using the QR check-in on the services Victoria app. Importantly, the screening questions and vaccination requirements for visitors and contractors, plus the requirement for them to wear N95 masks remain unchanged.
We are currently working with our Infection Prevention and Digital Health teams to determine the most appropriate way to keep a record of check-ins to our sites and we will update you as more information becomes available.
Residential Services are required to continue existing check-in processes and will continue to use the SwipedOn devices.
For information on all our current screening requirements, please visit the COVID-19 employee site.
