We held our tenth annual Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Neurophysiology Science Research and Innovation Conference last Thursday 6 October.
Karl Lincke, Clinical Manager of Physiotherapy and Neurophysiology Scientists, chaired the conference, with a welcoming address from Dr Abby Foster, Allied Health Research Advisor.
Invited keynote speakers, Dr Jonathan Rawstorn, Deakin University, ‘Exercise telerehabilitation in cardiovascular disease’ and Prof Alison Hutchinson, Barwon Health, ‘Integrated knowledge translation in an academic-health service partnership’ presented key messages that will inform our work going forward.
Abstract presentations showcased the work of our clinicians currently completing post-graduate studies, successful MH Emerging Research Fellowships and Lions John Cockayne Memorial Trust Fund grant recipients, and collaborations with Monash University. The research and QA projects highlight our clinicians’ dedication to improving patient-centred care at Monash Health.
Thank you and congratulations to all who submitted abstracts and presented!
