General Medicine @ MMC on Ward 42, our Specialty General Medical unit, has a new Wednesday Fun Day initiative and recently celebrated World Tutu Day.
The entire team, including nurses, support services, ward clerks, medical staff and allied health team members, donned tutus to inject some fun and frivolity into the ward. They were joined by several team members who, despite not being rostered to work, still participated from home with their families and sent their pictures to share on the team photo board.
Our patients and families were delighted and enjoyed seeing our team having fun during their working days.
The team run a different theme each Wednesday, so if you are looking for an injection of fun, head to Ward 42 on a Wednesday, and you will be sure to wear a smile for the rest of your day.
