All-employee Grand Round, Wednesday 9 November

Join us on Wednesday 9 November for an all-employee Grand Round with guest speaker Michael Fischer, Professor of Organisational Culture and Leadership

All-employee Schwartz Round, Thursday 10 November

Join us on Thursday 10 November for an all-employee Schwartz Round facilitated by Claire Pierce, General Manager Specialist Clinics Health Information and Language Services, and Rosemary McKemmish, Monash Doctors Wellbeing Officer & Schwartz Round Coordinator.

The topic is ‘Love in the Trenches – The Power of Love in Healing’, and our panellists are Sara Jorgenson, Breast Care Nurse, Associate Professor Michael Franco, Chief Medical Information Officer and Program Director EMR & Informatics, and Maria D’Cunha, Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse.

Schwartz Rounds are forums where both clinical and non-clinical employees can discuss the emotional and social aspects of healthcare. They aim to facilitate a greater understanding of the challenges and rewards of providing care to our patients.

Tell us what kindness means to you

As part of World Kindness Day celebrations, we would love to hear what kindness looks like to you. It could be a small gesture from a colleague or an outpouring of kindness from a patient. Send us an instance or two where you experienced or expressed kindness at work. You can email your submissions to patientexperience@monashhealth.org

You can also send someone a thank you card for their kindness, using the World Kindness Day ecard.

Selfie time! Show us the magic of kindness

During the week, we are encouraging people to send us a photo showing us the magic of kindness. Take a selfie showing us how kindness makes you feel. You can email your submissions to patientexperience@monashhealth.org

We hope you can join us throughout the week to celebrate kindness! #KindnessIsMagic
