Your health and safety are of key importance to us and WorkCover is one element available should you sustain an injury in the workplace and need assistance to cover the cost of lost wages and medical treatment. If you are injured at work, you have the right to lodge a worker’s compensation claim through WorkCover.
WorkSafe agents are appointed by WorkSafe Victoria to provide frontline service delivery of the WorkCover scheme and to assist and support us with improving health and safety in the workplace.
From 1 November 2022, our new WorkSafe agent is Employees Mutual Limited (EML).
Importantly, this change has no impact on your right to lodge a claim, or how we support you with your WorkCover claim. Our Injury Management team will continue to provide expert advice to you for any compensation claims as we transition to our new WorkSafe agent.
Do I need to do anything if I have a current WorkCover claim?
No, you will not need to do anything if you have a current WorkCover claim. Your service will now be delivered by EML.
Our Injury Management team will have already notified you of this change and EML will contact you from 1 November.
Further information and support
