Enterprise Agreements – Implementation Update

Monash Health and Jessie McPherson Private Hospital operate under 11 Enterprise Agreements.

The implementation of Enterprise Agreements is overseen by the Employee Relations team who work closely with the relevant business area, People and Culture Business Partners, payroll, recruitment and OHS to ensure accurate and timely implementation.

A large number of Enterprise Agreements have either recently commenced operating or been submitted to the Fair Work Commission for approval. The table below sets out the progress of each Enterprise Agreement including the commencement date, when payroll will implement wage and allowance increases, payment of any once-off payments and payment of back pay.

Additionally, the Department of Health has authorised a once-off 2% wage increase while bargaining continues for the following Enterprise Agreements.

Given the large volume of Enterprise Agreements currently requiring implementation, our immediate focus will be on ensuring that employees receive wage and allowance increases, once-off payments, backpay and any additional paid parental leave (as relevant) before moving to implement other enterprise agreement outcomes.
