Work is progressing well on our new food and beverage outlets at Monash Medical Centre (MMC) and Dandenong Hospital.
Dandenong Hospital
- The convenience store closed temporarily for refurbishment in November and will reopen later in December.
- The main café will close for refurbishment in December and will reopen in April or May 2023.
Monash Medical Centre
- Zuppa, which is currently operating in the Coffee Bar near the main entrance, will soon relocate and commence operating from the former gift shop location. Zuppa’s plans include an external seating area and a menu expansion, with soups and hot foods available.
- The Coffee Bar currently occupied by Zuppa will be removed to enhance the circulation space and visual amenity for those entering through the main entrance.
- Renovation works on the main café will commence in January 2023. This will include renovations to outdoor dining areas. The new café is anticipated to open in May 2023.
- Nesso Café in the Translational Research Facility and Gigil Café at Monash Children’s Hospital will continue to operate as usual.
Careful planning will continue to ensure there are food and beverage options available at MMC and Dandenong Hospital during these works. We appreciate your patience during the downtime and look forward to the exciting new options opening soon.
