What is happening?
Following the introduction of the EMR Capacity Management (CapMan) system and employee feedback, a planned downtime occurred from 4.00 am to 7.00 am Tuesday 28 February. The downtime has successfully resolved custom list issues experienced by users and deployed additional custom list attributes to ensure the system remains responsive to our employees’ experience and our patients’ needs.
What do I do now?
- From 7.00 AM on 28 February 2023, Capacity Management – Bed Management System will be available for all users.
- From 7.00 AM on 28 February 2032, any required bed request orders can be placed and allocated in the EMR.
- NCO/Bed Manager to log completely out of the EMR.
- NCO/Bed Manager to log back into the EMR.
- Delete old lists.
- All custom lists need to be recreated by NCOs/Bed Managers/Mental Health Bed Coordinators/EPS staff/Sub Acute Clerks Capacity Management – Bed Management
- Super Users will be briefed on the updated processes so they can support you in remaking your custom lists until 8 March.
- All existing EMR support channels will be available to support users post downtime activities.
- The updated Creating Custom Transfers Lists for Bed Managers QRG is available to assist you.
