VHH managers and employees: Last chance to be Go-Live ready!

All VHH Managers need to ensure their team members are Go-Live ready for Wednesday 8 March. 

Please ensure your employees attend the final Log On event at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton on Tuesday 7 March if they have not already attended an event, to ensure they are ready to access VHH EMR functionality and other key digital systems. 

If you are a nursing manager, you also need to ensure you have registered your employees in Omnicell so that they can have their fingerprints registered on the Automated Medication Cabinets (AMC) at this final Log On event, ready for Go-Live!  

Final Log On Event – Tuesday 7 March at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton 

12:00 noon to 4:00pm 

 All non-medical VHH employees can ensure they are ready to access VHH EMR functionality and other key systems e.g.,  

  • Baret,  
  • Clinical Mobile Handheld Devices and the  
  • Automated Medication Cabinet (AMC)!  

The Log On event will ensure you are in the correct EMR position after completing training and provide an opportunity to set up your key preferences (e.g., patient, ward, unit lists and iView bands). 

No bookings are required. 

Location: On-site at Monash Medical Centre – The Meeting Place, Level 2, between the orange lifts and the Aboriginal Healing Garden. This helpful map has wayfinding details. 

Target Audience: This event is relevant for ALL non-medical VHH employees requiring access to the EMR and integrated digital systems. 

Tuesday 7 March 12.00 noon to 4.00pm in-person at MMC. 

Access to AMC – register your nurses so that they can register their fingerprints! 

Nursing Managers ensure you have registered your team members in Omnicell, so they are ready to use the Automated Medication Cabinets (AMCs) from Wednesday 8 March.  

Follow this Quick Reference Guide on how to add new permanent employees to the AMC database of users. Additionally, there are instructions on providing temporary access for Agency staff. 

If not previously completed you can request access for your employees today! 

  • Complete and submit the AMC Access Request Form    
  • The cut off for utilising this form is today (Friday 3 March) at 4.00pm. 
  • Follow the instructions on the VHH Sharepoint if you require access after today’s cutoff time  

It is important that your team members have an account created on the AMC server so that they can register their fingerprint on the AMC device at the final Log On event at Monash Medical Centre next Tuesday! 

Favourites Fair for Doctors and Nurse Practitioners! 

The EMR team are able to set up your ‘Favourites’ in time for next Wednesday 8 March.
