Calling all Casual and Pool Employees to work at the VHH

The Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH), the first dedicated cardiac hospital in Australia, has come to life in recent weeks with the opening of wards, theatres, cath labs, imaging and cardiac emergency. It is an exciting time to be involved in the VHH, and we are looking for casual nurses, clerks, administration, and general services employees to fill the many vital roles available. 

The following areas at VHH are looking forward to welcoming new employees: 

  • Ward 7A – CCU 
  • Ward 7B – Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Interventional 
  • Wards 6A and 6B – Monash Heart Private 
  • Immediate Recovery Centre 
  • Cardiac Catheter Laboratory 
  • Theatres 
  • Emergency  
  • Diagnostic Imaging 
  • Outpatient Clinics 
  • General Services 

If you are interested in picking up a shift at the VHH you will first need to complete the required training. You can find the eLearning for your area of interest on the Latte EMR eLearn Programs Matrix, scroll down to the VHH programs. 

Complete the VHH Availability Form to let us know where you would like to work, and we will let the manager know to book you into a SimLab shift. 

There are currently daily SimLabs available at the VHH until Tuesday 21 March; if you would like to attend one of these, please email EMRtraining@monashhealth.org to make a booking. After the 21 March SimLabs will run twice a week; see Latte for details.
