The Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation’s (MCHRI) Biostatistical Consulting Service is offering all clinical staff a free initial consultation.
The initial consultation will be conducted at MCHRI or via Zoom, and statistical support totalling two hours will be provided. The free initial consultation consists of advice from expert statisticians and doesn’t include analysis.
Additional advice or time can be provided at a quoted rate of $125 per hour (plus GST), charged to individuals or departments as appropriate.
Costs for small projects are generally quoted up to $10,000; medium projects up to $25,000; and large projects over $25,000.
The MCHRI Biostatistical Consulting Service provides support for Monash Health and Monash University staff and students in the development, execution and reporting of clinical research studies, including general advice on study design and grant writing, advice on statistical rigour and sample size, and assistance with statistical analysis.
Providing biostatistical support to staff is part of the mutual benefits of its co-location within the Monash Health Translation Precinct based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton.
To organise an initial consultation, the application form has to be completed and co-signed by the relevant supervisor or Research Director. The completed form should be emailed to big data and biostatistician lead Associate Professor Joanne Enticott at Joanne.enticott@monash.edu.
