Next weekend, six incredible Monash Children’s Hospital @ Home program members will push themselves to the limit as they take on the Great Southern Rail Trail Cycle Challenge.
Jackie Hopley, Katie Scott, Katie Robertson, Katrina Sullivan, Louise Edge and Lauren Wood will set off on their ride from Leongatha to Port Welshpool (and back), covering more than 144km over the two days.
“We’ve been training hard over the last month in preparation for the ride. Most of us aren’t used to riding such a long distance, so we’re excited to take on a challenge of this magnitude and raise funds for Monash Children’s Hospital at the same time,” said Jackie.
On behalf of the entire Monash Health community, we wish the Trailblazing Divas all the best on their ride.
If you would like to support the team in their fundraising efforts, you can do so here.
