Our amazing security team have been recognised not once, not twice, but three times as finalists for the 2023 Australia Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs)!
With a strict and robust judging process, we couldn’t be prouder of our Monash Health Security Team, who have progressed as finalists in the following categories:
- Outstanding Security Team: Monash Health Security Team
- Outstanding Security Partnership: Monash Health and Siemens
- Outstanding Security Manager/Director: Steve Bills, Monash Health
The Outstanding Security Team Award recognises the collective efforts of the Monash Health Security Team, and their continued dedication to the safety of patients, employees, and visitors.
Security Operations Manager Sylvia Lynch said she couldn’t be more grateful for the recognition.
“We’re honoured to be finalists in three categories for this year’s awards,” she said.
“The dedication of our security team is instrumental in creating a safe and secure healthcare environment and their tireless efforts day in and day out reflects their commitment to safety and well-being.”
The recognition as finalists shows how integral the Security Team is to the organisation, Sylvia said.
“It’s a testament to their exceptional professionalism,” she said.
“This remarkable achievement comes on the heels of their nomination as a finalist for Outstanding Security Team for 2022.”
These awards are part of the broader Australian Security Industry Association Awards, and underscores Monash Health’s commitment to safety and security within the healthcare sector.
The OSPAs provide a platform to celebrate excellence in security, inspiring organisations to continually enhance security standards.
The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony on 19 October at the Park Hyatt Hotel, and we extend our best wishes to Monash Health’s Security Team for their well-deserved recognition.
