Join us for our 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence event

Join us on Wednesday 6 December at 2pm for our online 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence event.

We welcome Anu Krishnan, CEO and Founder of Kulturbille as she presents, Understanding the role of culture in identifying and responding to family violence.

Anu will delve into the impact of culture on identifying and responding to family violence. She will articulate strategies for moving towards a future where everyone’s perspective is culturally aligned, fostering a responsive, inclusive, and adaptable environment.

She has endless passion to ensure we respond to human service challenges with insight and understanding – aware that each individual views the world with a unique lens, coloured by our experiences, culture and place in this world.

For the last seven years she has focused on developing and delivering capacity building programs to increase culturally strong practice – including primary prevention, capacity building for services and culturally informed programs.

In 2019, Anu was recognised in VMC Multicultural Awards Program for her work in Primary Prevention.
