Electric vehicles are becoming a part of the Monash Health fleet.
With charging stations and infrastructure in place, electric vehicles will soon be available to book and drive from Clayton, Dandenong and Kingston, with plans to roll out to additional sites in the future.
No training is required to drive one of our electric fleet vehicles. Driving an electric car is the same as driving a petrol car, just quieter. And charging our electric vehicles at our purpose-built charging stations is as easy as plugging in your smartphone, just on a slightly bigger scale.
Our electric fleet vehicles will have dedicated parking spaces and charging stations. Signage will go up shortly, and we’ll keep an eye on these spots to ensure they’re used for our electric fleet vehicles only, so please avoid parking other vehicles in these spaces. Vehicle charging will be activated via RFID card for Monash Health electric fleet vehicles only.
Familiarisation sessions
We understand that some of our fleet drivers want the chance to have a look and familiarise themselves with our electric fleet vehicles before they drive them. That’s why we’re running on-site and in-person familiarisation sessions for our fleet’s new electric arrivals.
There’s no need to RSVP or book. Find the site and time most convenient to you, and a Kia representative and one of our Procurement team members will be there to help familiarise you with our electric fleet vehicles.
