Celebrating the Annual Allied Health Assistants Day Conference

Last month, Monash Health held our 7th  Annual Allied Health Assistants Day Conference with a virtual audience of 586 attendees from across Australia.

Tony Sheng, Allied Health Assistants Workforce Officer, says the team celebrated another successful and exciting year for the workforce and its ability to face the challenge of change head on. “Our always-incredible Monash Health Leadership Group AHAs, Katrina Frederick, Kylie Saccotelli, Robyn McDonald and Sharon McLean led the way as the faces of our event and did a fantastic job MCing for the day.”

Attendees were treated to a full day of presentations, including updates from the Allied Health Assistant State-wide Workforce Project on its implementation phase, Professor Lorimer Moseley AO from the University of South Australia, and Lucas Patchett, co-founder of Orange Sky.

The AHA Day Organising Committee would like to thank all who made this event possible, and we are excited to continue offering high quality professional development opportunities to AHAs across the country.

Planning has now commenced for AHA Day 2024, so please put a save-the-date in your calendar for Wednesday November 13 2024.
