We are pleased to introduce Wards, Beds and Specialties Request in iPM, a new Prompt procedure that will guide you through the modification or establishment of inpatient wards, bed or specialties in our Patient Administration System, iPM.
The new procedure provides a clear, step-by-step process and provides a practical flow chart for instances where changes to iPM or our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are necessary. All requests for alterations to wards, beds, and specialities within the EMR must adhere to this procedure.
We invite you to contact the Customer Service Manager, based in Health Information Services (HIS) at your site, to initiate the process and for a discussion regarding your requirements. The HIS Support team may also reach out to you during this process to ensure accurate patient data capture, meeting both continuous patient care needs and the Victorian Department of Health’s reporting and funding requirements.
Please allow a minimum of four (4) weeks if the requested changes are required to be implemented within the EMR.
