The People matter survey is now open. Find out if you stand out as a leader

The 2023 People matter survey is now open.

A high completion rate for 2023 will help guide our efforts to enhance the workplace environment for everyone at Monash Health and feed directly into our Workforce Strategy. The survey results will also be made public, helping us compare our performance with other health services and government organisations.

Your Role

Importantly though, we want to empower our leaders to use their local results, to effect change at a local level. If 10 or more people in an area complete the survey, we’ll send copies of your area’s full results to team Directors. These results will help you understand more about your team and your leadership style and we’ll also provide you with the resources to help turn these results into actions.

You can visit our dedicated People matter website where you’ll find information to help you encourage your team to complete the People matter survey:

  • Example report
  • Suggestions for how to create time for your team to complete the survey
  • Speaking notes and MS Teams reminders for you to use when connecting with your teams, particularly those that may not regularly be using computers
  • Regular updates on participation rates down to ward or unit level.
  • FAQs

And, for once the results are released, we’ll add more information about ways to help you turn feedback into action:

  • Team action planning template
  • Resources and initiatives to drive engagement
  • Details of org-wide focus groups

Supporting Your Team

We know that you and your team are busy, but your active involvement in encouraging participation supports our commitment to employee wellbeing and a strong workplace culture. Please remind your teams regularly about the survey, where to find it and actively help remove barriers to completion.

Thank you for your support in helping make Monash Health a great place to work.
