Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances present a risk in our workplace.

There has been a growing emphasis on providing comprehensive guidance for the management of waste, particularly Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances.

This month’s OHS Communication Pack provides clear guidance and resources to support the safe storage and disposal of hazardous waste.

Take time to:

  1. Review the new procedure – OHS Storage and Disposal of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances – available on Prompt.
  2. Know how to locate the Cleanway Manifest form, develop the waste label, and verify that the storage area for chemical waste is suitable and compliant.
  3. Keep records that demonstrate the communication of the new procedure.
