Acute Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease – an education webinar
Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF) and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) are newly notifiable conditions in Victoria. This educational webinar and Q and A session focuses on clinical aspects, care pathways and resources available to clinicians and an overview of the public health response. These conditions adversely affect certain populations, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Pacific Islander people.

This webinar is intended for primary care providers (including GPs, nurse practitioners and Aboriginal Health workers), cardiologists, paediatricians, urgent and emergency care providers, community workers and others who may provide care or services to people affected by ARF or RHD. The webinar is presented by the Department of Health, Western Health and the South East Public Health Unit.
