Hosted each quarter, the Nursing and Midwifery Education and Strategy (NaMES) department invites you to join us for a one-hour forum exploring contemporary issues in nursing, important clinical and governance updates, and best practice guidelines.

The theme of this forum is the prevention of occupational violence and aggression. Hear from Nicole Edwards (Monash Health POVA Co-ordinator) about how Monash Health is addressing the prevention of occupational violence and aggression in your workplace.

This session will feature an expert panel discussion on the prevention of violence and aggression across care contexts, and answer any questions you have on:

• The impact of occupational violence and aggression (OVA) at Monash Health
• Tools and resources to support nurses and midwives in preventing and responding to challenging behaviours
• Projects and strategies underway at Monash Health
