Elder Abuse and Capacity Issues is part of a series Seniors Rights Victoria (SRV) is delivering on how to work with older people who are being abused. This one-hour interactive workshop explores the complexities of working with older people in situations of elder abuse where there may be questions about their capacity.

Who should attend: Staff from Monash Health’s hospital campuses and its community-based programs are invited to attend. e.g., Staff from ACAS, HARP, TCP, Allied Health and Social Work; case managers; and medical staff. We also welcome interested staff from other community programs in the local region.

To register:

  1. Visit https://www.bouverie.org.au/training/specialist_program/elder_abuse
  2. Go to the “View events by topic”, select Monash Health in the dropdown box, and click on “Search”.
  3. Once you find the event, click on “Book Now” and follow the prompts to enter your details.
