Val’s Ageing and Aged Care is providing a monthly LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care training session for employees working in the Commonwealth Home Support Programme sector or caring for or supporting older people in the community.

These sessions run each month in order to create and maintain awareness of the experiences and needs of older LGBTI people as they are, their access to care and support, and to introduce LGBTI-safe and inclusive care to employees and service providers.

The session is 3 hours in duration with 15 minutes of break time throughout the session. Registration is free and open to a maximum of four participants per organisation per session. Attendance is only required at one session, as there are repeat sessions being conducted.
