Today we announced the winner in the Managing Wisely category for our Q1 2021 STAR Awards. The winner is Soni Palahanickal, Food Services Supervisor at Dandenong Hospital.
Soni is a Food Service Supervisor at Dandenong Hospital, and has been with Monash Health for more than 10 years. He always showing unwavering commitment and care in every task he undertakes. He is helpful, kind and courteous, not just to his team but to all employees, patients and their families.
Soni’s extensive experience in the food and hospital industry has given him a unique set of management skills which he brings to his role. The team appreciate the considered way he makes important decisions. He shows empathy for his team, nurses and all other internal stakeholders.
COVID-19 has brought change and uncertainty to the kitchen at Dandenong but Soni has supported the entire kitchen team so well during this time. He is always planning to ensure our operations remain smooth and efficient, ensuring that patient service is never compromised. Congratulations Soni!
