At today’s employee forum, Chief Executive Andrew Stripp presented the STAR Award for In Pursuit of Excellence to Monash Health Community’s National Disability Insurance Scheme Program team. The Community NDIS Program recently underwent its first accreditation audit for NDIS services. In the lead up to the audit, the team worked tirelessly to ensure that they were prepared for the audit, while at the same time continuing to deliver a high-quality service. Employees and participants were interviewed, and evidence was provided about service delivery against the NDIS Practice Standards.
NDIS Program Manager Jacinta Sadler took ownership of the accreditation and worked tirelessly across multiple Programs and Departments to support the audit.
Jacinta partnered with Quality and Safety, Risk, People and Culture, OHS, Finance and many more teams that deliver and administer the service to ensure no stone was left unturned.
The audit was successful, and the Program reached full compliance. The auditors provided positive feedback about the professionalism, skill level of employees and the excellent quality of service to NDIS participants.
Monash Health NDIS participants acknowledged the flexibility of the team, their ongoing commitment to client-centred care and their willingness to go “over and above” to best meet the needs of NDIS participants.
Chief Operating Officer Martin Keogh sent this message following the closing meeting with the auditors:

Particular thanks to you Jacinta – I have heard nothing but praise for your leadership and efforts in achieving this result for the health service.
