What’s happening
Here’s the latest from the M365 Project – and how you can find out more!
Shared Mailboxes
From 10 December 2021, most shared mailboxes are accessible via Outlook on the Web, and in Outlook via your desktop icon.
Check out Opening A Shared Mailbox from Outlook On-The-Web (from the M365 Knowledge Hub) for a step-by-step guide, or here are some instructions for adding shared mailboxes to your Outlook desktop app.
Note: If you’re working from home you may need to access shared mailboxes using the Remote Desktop, or using Outlook-on-the-web.
Focus on Licences
Our Change Champion Network training sessions continue next week with our M365 Licences information class.
The team will cover the differences between M365 licences, what they allow you to do, and how they work.
You are welcome to attend M365 Webinar events. You can join any session and add any session to your calendar directly from the M365 Knowledge Hub.
Mobile Phone Contacts
You might not be able to view some of your mobile contacts after the move. Don’t worry, this is a very normal part of moving your data – and easy to fix! You’ll simply need to “sync” your contacts from your email account.
You can follow this simple guide to synchronising Outlook Contacts to your mobile phone or tablet after the transfer, or for iOS- Restoring Contacts to your mobile phone or tablet device QRG.pdf.
Outlook on your mobile device
To use Outlook on a mobile device, you must install the Microsoft Outlook application. You can download the app on your mobile device by going to the following links:
