I scream, you scream, we all scream…

. . . For ice cream!

Community employees, keep an eye and an ear out for Mr Whippy at your site soon.

From Monday 9 May to Friday 13 May, the Mr Whippy van will be visiting many of our community sites and providing employees with one free ice cream each.

As we continue to say thank you for all that you do, this initiative will offer our community employees the opportunity to indulge and enjoy a one-off treat.

Here’s what you need to do…

  • Please take note of the date and time (below) that the ice-cream truck will be visiting your site
  • Have your employee ID ready to show the ice cream van staff
  • Patiently queue up at the ice cream van, show the ice-cream van staff your employee ID, select your ice cream flavour, and enjoy!

Health and wellbeing resources

We continue to prioritise the wellbeing of all our employees, and have a number of ongoing initiatives available to help you.

Foods like ice cream are a ‘sometimes food’ and should be consumed occasionally.

To maintain good health, it is important to consume a balanced diet and engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every day.

For information, resources, and materials on healthy eating and physical activity, visit the Healthy Mind and Body Hub and access the Physical health resources on the employee COVID-19 website.

This initiative is supported by the Victorian Government’s Department of Health Be Well Be Safe Program, providing increased health and wellbeing support for healthcare workers during COVID-19.  For further details and to stay informed about the latest initiatives, visit the Be Well Be Safe Program webpage.
