A big congratulations to Belinda Mowbray, our “In Pursuit of Excellence” STAR Award winner.
The category recognises an individual or team who personifies our intent to be relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
Belinda is COVID Pathway Delivery Coordinator and Social Support Team Leader for the Aged Care and Community Care team.
Belinda is nominated by the Social Support team, including Ann, Birget, Renata and Tracey, who say they are in awe of her. She is an approachable Team Leader who makes time to chat with everyone who comes on-site, and she’s always ready to jump in and help as needed.

The team say they are often in awe of Belinda. She is a quiet achiever but she’s persistent, resilient, and dedicated to her team, clients, as well as her role, and the values of Monash Health.
“I feel honoured to receive this award, just being nominated by my team was highlight enough for me and I thank them hugely for the nomination.”
Belinda took on the role of COVID Pathway Delivery Coordinator in October last year. Even in the ever-changing environment of the pandemic, Belinda is committed to continuous improvement, always on the lookout for new ways to make change for the better. Belinda started the COVID Pathway Delivery program from scratch at Mundaring Drive and introduced the Nikos program that makes delivery routes more time efficient.
“I named the program after one of our drivers, Nicoloas Darras,” says Belinda. “He was kind enough to use his amazing skills to help design a computer program to improve our delivery runs, so I called the program ‘Nikos’. I have adapted it to use now in our social support bus runs as well, so definitely a big mention and thank you to him!”
The team at Mundaring offer a huge thank you to Belinda for her hard work and dedication to Monash Health.
“It was a team effort with staff across the community coming in as drivers but particularly A&CC team and the social support teams across Greater Dandenong and Casey Cardinia really putting in a hundred percent,” says Belinda. “I would also especially like to thank and acknowledge my manager Sian Murray who was by my side, setting up the site and systems and sharing the weekend shifts in the coordination role as well as putting up with me and my debriefs and requests.”
