Vicarious Trauma – it’s not always easy to talk about, but it’s an important topic to acknowledge and address.

Join us for a presentation and interactive discussion about Vicarious Trauma at our next Employee Wellbeing Forum.

Vicarious trauma describes the cumulative effects of exposure to information about traumatic events and experiences, potentially leading to distress, dissatisfaction, hopelessness and serious mental and physical health problems. It is a normal response to the ongoing exposure to other people’s trauma, especially for healthcare workers who support people who have experienced trauma.
