CrazySocks4Docs Day: check out our funky submissions

Sometimes we all need an opportunity to show our true colours – and last Friday many took the opportunity to do just that for CrazySocks4Docs Day.

By donning their most eccentric pair of socks, Monash Health employees helped encourage each other to have conversations about their mental health in a bid to continue to raise awareness of mental health challenges affecting workers in healthcare.

Through having a continued open dialogue about mental health, we can help reduce the stigma associated with battling mental health issues.

Keep the conversation going

Following on from CrazySocks4Docs Day we encourage you to keep the conversations going about mental health.

We encourage you to take the time to check in and see how your colleagues, or team, are going on any given day.

Asking them how they are feeling and giving them a safe space to be heard can make all the difference – and don’t forget to ask how you can best support them if you’re in a position to do so.

Getting in on the action

Take a look below to see some of the team photo submissions sent through for CrazySocks4Docs Day.

All photo submissions went in the draw to win free coffee vouchers for their team in a bid to show our appreciation for your advocacy, and to encourage employees to continue the conversation about mental health every single day of the year.

At Monash Health, we are continuing to prioritise the wellbeing of all our employees, and have a number of ongoing initiatives, resources and support services available to help you.
