R U OK? Check-in with Converge App and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

With R U OK? Day coming up this month, there is no better time than now to check in with yourself and others. Mental health issues are not confined to a specific date or event – they affect individuals every day. For this year’s R U OK? Day, we reflect on the theme “I’m here to hear” and let our loved ones and colleagues know you’re here, to really hear them.

At times when the opportunity for conversations is limited, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help you check in with your own wellbeing 24/7. And with the new Converge App, you can access the EAP and a variety of its services more easily and frequently.

About the Converge App

The Converge App can support you with tools to encourage autonomy, self-awareness and motivation to take control of your health and wellbeing. The core tools included to help track and improve your mental and physical health are:

  • Appointment booking with the EAP
  • Health metrics tracking and a personalised human dashboard
  • Health insights library
  • Employee support (FAQ’s and e-mail support)
  • Connectivity with your smart device or fitness tracker

Use the Monash Health organisation code, “MONAVEWV” to create your personal profile on Converge App and the Converge International Online Booking for EAP appointments.

Getting support from the Converge App and EAP can help to improve your mental wellbeing, enhancing your relationships, engagement and productivity at home and work.

Remember, no problem is too small when it comes to your happiness, health, and wellbeing. Our EAP can help address your concerns before they worsen. If you’re unsure whether the EAP is right for you, you are welcome to seek assistance and give it a try.

About the EAP

The EAP is a confidential service available to you 24/7, 365 days a year by calling 1300 687 327. The service enables you to access short-term counselling and coaching for any challenge you may have in your work or personal life. The EAP is also available to your immediate family and your partner, and they can access this independently or accompanied by you. The EAP is facilitated independently by Converge International and their qualified health professionals and specialists.

Included with the EAP is access to the Converge App and a range of supportive resources available online at any time.
