Update to visitor restrictions

Following this afternoon’s alert, we can now share additional information regarding visitation to our sites.

From 11.59pm Friday 12 February and until further notice, no visitors are permitted at Monash Health sites.

Posters with further details and exceptions for special circumstances can be downloaded here (13 February edition now available).

We know this will cause disappointment, but it is a necessary step in protecting patients, healthcare workers and the community. Where possible, please assist patients to visit ‘virtually’ using phone calls and video chat.

You can refer to the full list of restrictions announced today on the Department of Health website.

Further details will be included in Chief Executive Alerts. Please ensure you share these updates with your team and discuss them with colleagues who may not be aware of all the changes.
