Our Employee Assistance Program is here to support you

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to our professional and personal lives. It is normal to feel anxious or uncertain during this time. However, it is important to try to manage these feelings in our day-to-day lives.

At Monash Health, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to provide free and confidential support to our employees, their immediate family, and volunteers.This service is available to proactively manage your health and wellbeing, and to provide support during what can be a difficult time.

The service covers a range of personal and professional issues, including:

  • Employee assist
  • Career assist
  • Nutrition and Lifestyle assist
  • Manager assist
  • Money assist
  • Legal assist
  • Family and Conflict assist

The EAP is available from 8am to 8pm every day, with limited availability on weekends. To find out more or book an appointment call 1300 687 327.

The EAP Portal, which provides a variety of supporting information including webinars and tips sheets, can be accessed via https://www.convergeinternational.com.au/. Go to the Portal Login tab and enter monashhealth as the username and password.

Along with the EAP, for concerns that specifically relate to COVID-19, Monash Health psychologists will also provide free and confidential support to employees through the Call a Psychologist service . This service is available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and can be accessed by calling 0418 905 414.

The Health and Wellbeing page on the Monash Health Coronavirus website has a wide range of resources  relating to emotional and mental health.

We encourage you to put your health and wellbeing first, and to seek assistance and support if you need it.
