To celebrate Mental Health Week, 4 October to 10 October, the annual Mental Health Art Competition has opened for submissions.
The competition is open to all past and present consumers, families, carers, and Mental Health Program employees. We invite you to submit up to two pieces of artwork for this year’s competition.
The voting categories include:
- Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander
- Adult
- Aged
- Carer
- Child
- Culturally Diverse
- Drug and Alcohol Services
- Dual Disability
- LGBTI+
- Staff
- Youth
The work that receives the most votes in each category will be bought by the Mental Health Program for $300 and displayed across Monash Health.
There will be two encouragement awards, purchased for $300 each, selected by the Mental Health Complaints Commissioner and the Mental Health Program.
A viewer’s choice award will be presented for the piece of art with the most votes in total, which will receive an additional $300.
