To support the health and wellbeing of employees and those in our care, testing for COVID-19 continues to be so important.
With the rise of COVID-19 case numbers and exposure sites, demand at all screening clinics remains high. As a result, while priority testing queues at multiple sites have been offered to employees, the wait times can still be long.
To ensure employees can access priority testing in a timely manner, there is a need to adjust the sites where employees can attend for priority testing.
As of today, Monash Health employees can access priority COVID-19 testing at the following screening clinics:
Clayton, Monash University Drive Through Screening Clinic
- Available hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm, seven days a week
- Please note: 4Cyte Pathology also operate at the Clayton screening clinic between 8:00am and 8:00pm, but do not offer priority testing to Monash Health employees.
Dandenong, Carroll Lane Drive Through Screening Clinic (limited capacity for priority screening)
- Available hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm, seven days a week
Employee COVID-19 Surveillance Testing sites remain unchanged.
To access priority testing at Clayton and Dandenong drive through screening clinics, please report to the Traffic Controller at the clinic entrance and state that you are a Monash Health employee and show your Employee ID. The Traffic Controller will then guide you to the priority queue and you will be tested as soon as possible, subject to demand on the day of others also eligible for priority testing.
Please note that Monash Health no longer operates the Casey Fields and Pakenham screening clinics, which are both now operated by ACL Pathology. These clinics are unable to offer priority testing to Monash Health employees.
To ensure there is capacity for all employees to access priority testing, this service continues to be available to employees only, and not family members and friends at this stage.
Employees’ test results will continue to receive priority in Monash Health’s pathology service to ensure you get your result as quickly as possible.
