You asked, we delivered! Due to popular demand, we’re giving out free potato cakes as a little gesture of gratitude for all the great work you do.
From Monday 9 May to Friday 13 May, we’re offering employees at our major sites a free potato cake.
If you work at one of our community sites, don’t feel like you’re missing out! We have a special surprise headed your way too!
Here’s what you need to do…
- Take note of the date, time, and location (below) that free potato cakes will be available at your site
- Nominate one team member to collect a tray of potato cakes and deliver them to your team’s area and enjoy!
- To help things run smoothly, avoid individually queuing up for one potato cake at a time and gathering in large crowds around the area

Health and wellbeing resources
We continue to prioritise the wellbeing of all our employees, and have a number of ongoing initiatives available to help you.
Foods like potato cakes are considered a ‘sometimes food’ and should be consumed occasionally. With increased feedback and interest in the return of potato cakes to our sites, this initiative will offer our employees the opportunity to enjoy a one-off treat.
To maintain good health, it is important to consume a balanced diet and engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every day.
For more information, resources and materials on healthy eating and physical activity, visit the Healthy Mind and Body Hub or access the physical health resources on the employee COVID-19 website.
This initiative is supported by the Victorian Government’s Department of Health Be Well Be Safe Program, providing increased health and wellbeing support for healthcare workers during COVID-19. For further details and to stay informed about the latest initiatives, visit the Be Well Be Safe Program webpage.
