A big congratulations to Gaynor Henderson, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, who is our STAR Award winner for the Pursuit of Excellence.

This award recognises someone who has personified our intent to be relentless in the pursuit of excellence. This may include demonstrating continued improvement in their approach to work, embodying the principles of teamwork, kindness, achievement and quality, or making an outstanding contribution to the experience of our people, patients or consumers.
Gaynor was nominated for this award for her active role in our Smoke Free Committee.
As part of the committee, Gaynor attends monthly meetings and contributes to the development and implementation of new actions to reduce tobacco-related harm across our organisation.
Gaynor has gone above and beyond in her efforts to produce a smoke-free future. She has run an employee focus group to gain insights in providing a smoke-free environment and reducing cigarette butt litter and its environmental impact. She also arranged an employee health and wellbeing smoke-free event with a panel of guest speakers.
Gaynor has promoted the QuitVic social media campaign across the organisation, and liaised with our Employee Assistance Program and the OHS team to improve service provision and facilitate improvements in health outcomes for our employees.
Gaynor is also well known for her tireless work in the health and wellbeing space. Behind the scenes she has organised free smoothies, wellbeing journals, massages, and the Stronger Together Team Wellbeing grants.
Thank you, Gaynor, for all the work you do to brighten our days!
